Roald Dahl is my favorite children's author. I've read many of his books but never Matilda. I started it this week, and I can already tell it's going to be another good one. It starts with the author talking about how some parents treat their kids. I found this really hilarious since I have thought similar things about Ramona (she is a genius after all!). The girl is a huge reader, and I like her character already! I'm excited to keep reading!
I have never read the book Matilda, but i've seen the movie and it was really good. I hope you enjoyed the book. The movie was sort of told in 1st person becuase Matilda's dad tells some of the story in some small parts,and it actully tells the story a little bit more and I liked it!!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you mr.milbrand and Juliana I do love the book and the movie I have read and seen both. I really like how her teacher adopted her when her parents were leaving. oh and I also like the part when she uses her eyes to make something happen or just something bad to happen.
